During this course the student will :

• Discuss EPA refrigerant requirements
• Discuss the proper use of DOT- approved recovery tanks
• Describe the tools and equipment necessary for refrigerant recovery
• Acquire a good understanding of the refrigerant recovery process
  
  

After all of the refrigerant has been removed from the system, the student will then begin to perform the evacuation phase:

• Understand the measurement of a vacuum
• Describe the tools and equipment necessary for system evacuation
• Explain the use of a micron gauge
• Understand the triple evacuation process
• Discuss the differences between suction and liquid line driers
  
  

During this course there will be a video portion with review questions at the end. There is also a National Certification Exam available for this course.
