What is a trainer? What is their purpose?

Each trainer is a mobile residential split system simulation machine. We have a heat pump and natural gas set up. It is designed to improve the service call diagnostic skills of the HVAC service technicians. We can duplicate virtually any failure the technician will encounter out in the field along with any weather condition they may experience during a service call. The correct diagnosis and the time it takes to perform the initial diagnostic is the most important cost of the service call. We develop these trainers to do that.
