Our HVAC Technician & EPA Section 608 Certification program offers a fast-track, hands-on approach. We will have you trained and ready for a job in 6-weeks backed by our 100% placement rate. We have also upgraded our facility to allow out of town students to be able to stay overnight at our beautiful facility while attending our programs to help cut down on “Out Of Town” cost while completing the course. Our fast-track philosophy is positioned to cut your time in school in half while providing hands-on experience both in our lab and in the field running service calls. Whether you are someone that has never worked in this industry or a current technician, this course will teach you the basics of electricity, refrigeration, and troubleshooting. We need qualified technicians in the marketplace today, not a year from now!

Our graduates will leave with a solid foundation of electrical circuits, how to read wiring diagrams, tools of the trade, safety and hazard prevention, the basic fundamentals of the refrigeration cycle, and how to troubleshoot it. This program should benefit many individuals that do not have the resources or the time frame needed to complete the majority of courses offered in this industry to date. They will also receive the 608 freon certification needed to handle freon through our HVAC Excellence or Nate testing programs.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that the HVAC field will experience growth of 14% during the years from 2014-2024. This will add as many as 39,600 new jobs in just 10 years. Experienced HVAC techs will be in great demand, which means job security and a growing salary ($46,000 to $67,000 per year).
If you are going to be handing refrigerant, you are required to be EPA Section 608 certified.
