System Diagnostics and Troubleshooting Procedures

This course provides students and practicing technicians with the necessary information to successfully diagnose air conditioning and refrigeration system problems.

This course provides students and practicing technicians with the necessary information to successfully diagnose air conditioning and refrigeration system problems. Students will learn about the troubleshooting and diagnostics of common issues found in HVAC systems. Service checklists will help students quickly and efficiently diagnose problems in a system. 

Students will learn about the six classes of refrigerant leaks and their basic and advanced leak detection methods. Illustrations and details about leak testing procedures, system evacuations, and system clean-out procedures will be provided. Combination acid and moisture test kits are also part of this course.

Students who complete this course will receive a certificate of completion.
